Wilson Builders started working with the My Smart Office team in August 2022 and it has been a real breakthrough for the business on multiple fronts.
As well as setting up and implementing proper processes for our payment claims and purchase orders My Smart Office now handles the payroll and bookkeeping side of the business. Initially I was a bit hesitant to hand this over to someone else as I felt like it was just easier for me to do it rather than explain to someone else our process, how, why and where things go but Amanda's onboarding process made this pretty simple. A big benefit for me was that My Smart Office are experts in Buildaprice software, which we were using, but this has already been further extended with the experience and knowledge that Amanda brings.
Working with My Smart Office has freed me up more than I realised. I can now spend time doing the things I need to like business development, project management and pricing new projects. It has also allowed me to get back into some regular exercise which I was really missing out on. Outsourcing the payroll has improved the quality of employee timesheet entries as well as removing the task from my wife, which although initially hesitant, she is very happy about now.
Mary is very efficient and thorough and has already picked up on some big improvements we can make to our bottom line. Overall this has been a positive move for Wilson Builders, both businesswise and personally.
